I was out side yesterday brushing the shoe flies off of Rapscallion when a Lawn Gnome merrily skipped up to me and asked if I had the time. I told him it was daytime and if he needed a more accurate answer than that he would have to find someone with a watch. He looked at me and laughed.
We got to talking about the various things like the working conditions at the Keebler tree and how Smuckers has to be the silliest name ever invented and eventually I asked him if he would like to crew on my boat this year. He said sure!

speaking of watches and sprite-like creatures...I think a leprechaun stole my racing watch. Either that or my 18 month old, but my money's on the leprechaun...tricky little bastards those leprechauns. And I have a race tonight!
